Large 1940's/ 50's vintage industrial workbench table of chunky construction with a fully waxed top and frame.
The wax provides an appealing warmth to the tables rich red distressed paint and scrubbed timber top. The worktop, and all edges have been smoothed to remove any roughness and splintering.
As expected with an item like this, there are some holes, scarring, and discolouration pertaining to its previous life. As per the images, you can see that two of the legs are split and there is wear to the feet commensurate with years of use.
The bench stands extremely sturdily and is of a very practical size.
Very much a stunning vintage industrial centrepiece and perfect for use as a kitchen island, or retail display.
