Hand made Victorian jewellers stool originally used within the renowned Jewellery Quarter factories of Birmingham.
The stool stands with a slight lean to one side as seen within the images. It's likely that a silversmith spent years sat at their workbench in a certain position to cause the stool to crook slightly to one side although the seat still remains level!
It's extremely sturdy with no loose joints and is in fantastic condition for a functional workshop item likely to be in excess of 100 years old.
Lightly buffed with bees wax to highlight its appealing age related wear.
A rare and sought after piece of workshop furniture from Birmingham’s industrial past.
