Simple pagoda style 1930's Japanese shoeshine stool. Handmade from wooden planks, it's lightweight yet sturdy with two storage drawers below the seat.
One of the drawers has a split across the front as seen within the images but is still fully usable. Mismatched drawer handles, one of which looks to be a crude later addition.
These stools are extremely rare to find especially in this well conserved condition.
