Very modest Japanese shoeshine stool. Handmade from thin wooden planks in a simplified pagoda architectural style. Lightweight yet extremely sturdy with plank base so that the open area beneath the seat can be used for storage.
These stools are extremely rare to find especially in this well conserved condition.
